In responce to the TWA air disaster in 1996 I volunteered as a clinical psychologist with the Red Cross for a few days at JFK Ramada Inn in New York to assist family members, staff and children. At the time, I was working in crisis intervention with children and adolescents and felt it was the right thing to do. A few months later, this note below came in the mail. I was surprised but honored. I did not expect thanks but was mostly hoping to asisst the victims relatives and friends. It is now a sad reminder of a tragedy. I still remember the children I worked with, who by now are probably adults, and hope they know no more sorrow.
